Includes "The Kennel Experience"
You will help us prepare a small team of 8-10 dogs, sit with us on a powerful ATV, and learn how we train our dogs pre-season. After, we will take the harnesses of the huskies and give them a lovely chunk of meat as a treat for their excellent work. The duration of these activities depends on the number of people but is generally between 1.5 and 3 hours. Tea, coffee & cake are also provided over an open fire.
CURRENT SITUATION (3.11.2022)
Climate change showing its teeth, it is currently still mainly icy but wet in Kiruna. Therefore we have assembled an experience where you can still get to know all our husky crew, take part in a dog sledging training session with the ATV, have a traditional meal over the open fire and have a cuddle with our 9 husky puppies!
PICKUP/DROP-OFF: free in the Kiruna area, pickup and drop-off locations can be different as well (if you like to go see other things after)
DURATION: approximately 3 hours 30 minutes, depending on the number of people in the group
adults 1500 SEK
students 1400 SEK

If you love dogs and the coldness, this is one of the experiences that you shouldn't miss in Kiruna! Craig and his 60 huskies are super friendly and welcoming. He's very accommodative and helpful as I changed my pick up location with short notice, and I also had a newly made friend who came joining the tour without booking on Airbnb, and he said yes to both! Due to the weather, which no one can control and I totally understand and have no qualms about it, we couldn't do the sled but Craig handled it very well. We ended up on the ATV with the lovely huskies and also got to enjoy some time with the fluffy huskies - both adults and puppies! At the end we enjoyed a hot meal in a cozy hut and listened to some funny stories told by the other staffs which made me feel welcomed and warm inside 🥰 All the huskies are super active and friendly. Plus they're all well cared for - I can feel the love from the staffs that they truly love those fluff balls. One staff even told me he's adopted one puppy and I was so jealous of him haha
